falcon
This kit came out about 3 years prior to the 'real' B-2 unveiling ceremony, so it is not what the real B-2 looks like. The cockpit was very basic so I decided to add a little bit of artistic detail.
falcon
This pic shows the top fuselage/wing sections that have been glued and pinned together. The fuselage/wing has also had the panel lines scribed but still needs a lot of work. The wingspan is almost a wopping 27" (675mm) and is 15" (381mm) long. Deon
Makes for an excellent Whiff, nice work on the pit too.
falcon
Finally after a good number of weeks there has been a little bit of progress on this mighty beast. I have got round to putting a few extra details into the cockpit. These are a Microwave, a Coffee Machine with cup and thanks to Clive putting ideas into my head a fridge with fridge magnets. Modelling Mushi
Now it looks to my untrained eye that there is still room for a PS3 and bean bags . . . Interesting fitout, might also have space for a sleep out hammock for the relief a la truckie style!
falcon
The Revell ATB is coming along nicely now. Finished the painting now and just planning what to do decal wise.

Skii
Nice work Chris, looks like a real head turner, what paints will you be using ?
falcon
Cheers guys. So far I have used Xtracrylix Dark Sea Grey for the main colour and Gunze Sangyo H305 (Gunship Grey) for some of the panel highlighting.
Romeo Alpha Yankee
Nice so far Chris, have you figured out what decals you will be using? I reckon an after market B-2 sheet would do nicely.
falcon
Cheers. I will be using the Bergemot 1/72 B-2 decal sheet on this one, or bits of it at least.

thx6667
I often wonder if Northtrop saw that kit and thought "oh crap, that's what we should have built!"
Dave Fleming
Always though the wing planform of that kit resembled a smoothed out Vulcan!
themimic2000
Hey Chris How did you pin the "wings" to the center? I am starting mine now. Thanks Bob
