eng
Evening all, A couple of weeks later than I'd hoped, but here's pic's of the finished article. I've put plenty about the build of the kit in the "In-progress" thread, so just a quicky on the base - a cheap £1 frame from Ikea stained and a small box section built from balsa to raise it up a bit. The groundwork is polyfilla with some sand added for texture, a couple of small bits of stick out of the garden and a couple of small stones, the crater is just the plaster shaped with the end of a brush whilst still tacky. All painted with Vallejo U.S tan-earth and real leather, and a final drybrush with some MIG pigments Vietnam Earth and some bristles glued into a few small holes and trimmed when dry. Here's the pic's - All comments, good and bad, welcome, Thank's for looking, Eng

keefr22
Really like that, great chopper, very nicely displayed! I'm sorry, I haven't seen your w.i.p. thread, so can I ask did the decals come with the kit, or are they aftermarket? Nice build! Keef

eng
Thanks for all the good comments guy's, have to admit I'm pretty pleased with how this one's turned out. Keefr22 - The dec's were straight out the box believe it or not, there's only about a dozen for this option and I misplaced the red/white tail rotor stripes so that was me down 4 straight away! They went on beautifully though. A nice wee build all round. Thank's again folks, Eng
