Fmk.6john
Darth, excellent work so far, if you are not too sure about the silver wear marks all I can say is that the Vulcan had rubber/vinyl floor covering on all surfaces. This was for anti slip protection and sound deadening, although the matting in XM594 at NAM is intact I'm sure at some point it would have accrued wear marks. Some detail stuff here for you.... http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.p...mp;#entry407974 Keep up the good work, I look forward to seeing more progress. JB. Darth Vader
Here we go at this weeks work The intakes are great big resin work of arts. Insides painted and the avon fronts made up The canopy split and marked up . The canopy on the real thing is angular with flat windows but the kits is rounded, so out with the drill and files stick the glazing on the inside and Bobs your Uncle ! Just got to get the beast joined and the intakes fitted and she will start to take shape. Cheers folks see you later.

Jackman
Inside the huge bomb bay , this is gonna take some filling I'm watching this build VERY closely, esp how you construct the bomb-bay. I intend to learn from you & replicate this on the 1/72 MPC/Airfix kit. I saw someone do just that on ARC & on Hyperscale but I'd really appreciate it if you post step-by-step photos of how you construct this area. What are you using for plans for the bomb-bay and other internal plumbing? Thanks in advance Edited November 26, 2009 by Jackman

Darth Vader
Thankyou Jackman + Mike now I have a name for my tool. I got it from Travis Perkins for £13 which I thought a bit steep at the time , but its moneywell spent ! Yes Mike I added a bit of filler on the spine cause the kit is wrong in this area ( sorry Ian it is ) . Cheers folks
