Guest Drewe
ESCI kit nearly done. Little interior work and using the Model Alliance sheet as designed by our very own Jonathan! Some final work and varnishing and she'll be done. About time, it's been on the go for bloody months. Gunze Mr Color laquers of course.

thx6667
I started an Esci SHAR a few years back, been sitting in primer ever since waiting for a colour scheme. Odd thing but after reading Mike McEvoys review of the Hasegawa SHAR back in the 80s where he finished his in the Barley Grey/MSG scheme, somehow its got fixed in my mind that thats how I will eventually finish my copy of that kit. And the Fujimi kit I see as being done in the EDSG/H scheme! So I guess my Esci SHAR will end up in the EDSG finish. This build used the Airwaves set (one of the first PE sets I ever bought), very nice kit.

thx6667
For those who've not seen the sheet its essentially all the early RN SHAR FRS.1 schemes in the extra dark sea grey and white, plus the Indian Navy aircraft in the early and later two-tone grey scheme, with the Indian two-seaters thrown in for good measure. A number of Britmodeller faces helped out with the research on that one. If the set sells well I'm hoping to interest Gary in some more SHAR sheets.
