spitfire
Hi Bazza, try the Mike Starmer books on British vehicle colours (WEM have them), or have a look at this website http://www.mafva.net/other%20pages/Starmer%20camo.htm Cheers Den
Test Graham
The colour is SCC15. British Olive Drab. Not US Olive Drab, but possibly close to some of the greener variants available. WEM produce a version, although I think Mike Starmer doesn't approve. See http://www.mafva.net/other%20pages/Starmer%20camo.htm

Test Graham
Yes, if you try to work through it for the whole of the war, in all theatres; but it is dead simple for a Churchill in Autumn 1944! SCC15 or SCC15. Maybe US OD for US-supplied vehicles, or some of the superseded Dark Brown/Tarmac for UK softskins. You might find it easier if you buy one or more of Mike's books, which come with patterns - where relevant. PS Mushroom Monthly have just started a series on British Army colours and markings: very good, but comparatively expensive.
