eng
Another long rolling project fished out of the loft and progressed a bit recently. One of Verlindens superb resin 120mm figures, I've built the WWII bomber pilot many moons ago, and also have a Vietnam Heli gunner and SAS trooper on the go that have been neglected somewhat. The Top Gun figure comes with a head with helmet on and visor down, or this option but has a helmet separate as well. I preferred the "RayBan" look and have a wee idea of how to achieve that mirror-like reflective finish. I painted my WWII bomber pilot with Humbrol enamels but will try using acrylics for this chap. I've a few joins to tidy up before I crack on with painting commences. Heres a look so far...... All comments welcome, good and bad, Rgds, Eng Edited August 19, 2009 by eng

Skii
Hell of a well sculpted figure that one, I'd have gone with the bone-dome version myself, but looking forward to seeing what you do with it
eng
I liked the facial expression - looks like a real cocky fighter jock! Bet he's got a few kill markings on the canopy rail....... Eng

T-Tango
Nice looking figure Eng, it looks well sculpted with great detail, I've been considering getting one of their Roman figures, I would hope the detail is as good on those.
