MODeller
Hi All, Pleased to present my latest effort on the 1972 moulding of Tamiya's large Centurion, bought in 1973 for £9! Apart from replacing the moulded hand grabs with rebent Bambi staples it is totally OOB. No real problems but lots of mould seams to clean up and the fit of parts although good is not up to todays standards. The periscope lenses are stage light film and the aerials are masonry brush bristles. Screwed down onto a homemade MDF base with a Polyfilla/cat litter/sand coating. This one was a lot of fun (and cheap!) very happy with the result and it can still be taken apart to show the interior. All comments welcome.
