Hi Guys

Having decided to participate in this (my first GB) I've taken a few pics of the work so far. I'm not modelling much right now, but seem to have managed to 'overload' my desk with a variety of kits. This vacform is, I hope, going to be my first vacform completion and a testing ground for my skills in preparation for the vacform TSR.2 I have in my stash.

Slow going, but I'll defo get it done before year end (I hope! LOL!)...

Not the best kit for a first vacform, very basic to say the least, I wish you luck with it. The Falcon Swift FR5 is in a different league.

Hi Andrew

It was the 'basicness' of it that appealed to me, quite honestly. I wanted something that I could concentrate on getting the parts out and shaped right (something I had failed to do, to my satisfaction, on my previous two attempts). Plan to scratchbuild the cockpit and wheel wells - which I enjoy doing anyhow.

I wondered whether the Falcon was a 'better' kit - you've answered that for me, thanks. As I got this one for next to nothing (thrown in with a trade deal, in fact) I don't mind if I 'crash and burn' with it - though I shall do my damnedest NOT to! LOL!

Thanks Mike, for the welcome. I doubt if I'll get this one done as quick as you've cracked that Seafang! :)
