Stanley Ipkiss
Hello! After warm welcoming at Britmodeller, and suggestion to make workshop relation I would like to present one It would be a Potez 63.11 in 1/72 scale. Manufacter is Azur from Czech Republic. My model will be one of two Potez'es with painted polish checker. It was temporary painted in March 1940 on both sides of fuselage while visitation of general Sikorski at Lyon-Bron base. Potez 63.11 was an equipment of 1. Polish Reconnaissance Squadron but because of incompetent and lazy french training organization it never flew in combat... It would be my first "French" in collection and I hope you'll like it Firstly some in-box photos: Lots of resin parts Modest photoetched sheet Library And now some pics of what i have done so far: Because of "naked" fuselage inner sides I had to make my own ribs. Rudder bar and some other small details are added too. I also remade fotels and shuttlecock. Now I'm waiting for delivery of Falcons clera-vax "1/72 scale Set No.26: France (part 1)" so I could make changes in nose compartment. AnonymousFY21
You either have giant pegs in Poland, or that's a hell of a lot of very small detail going in there. Nice work. rich

Antoine
but because of incompetent and lazy french training organization it never flew in combat... You're welcome! Nice idea about the Polsih markings. Didn't know that there was a possibility for a Rumanian and a Brit Machine. Might be interested in building one, so I'll watch closely. Stanley Ipkiss
Hello! Thank you all for interest Today arrived Falcons canopies. Unfortunatelly they are dedicated to a Heller model so they won't fit... But I didn't give up, and after few minutes of work I placed left half I only had to make a plastic wedge and glue it to the fuselage. Now I'm going to make nose compartment ribs. Meanwhile I added some details to front floor. Here are some pics: Cheers Stanley

Antoine
Sorry for the hijack but I can't resist: Do you know why the cockerel is my country's mascot? Because it's the only bird who can sing while his feet are deep in the sh*t!

Always did like the more modern looking WW2 twin engined French Aircraft. Edited August 12, 2009 by NAKAJIMA15
Stanley Ipkiss
Hello again! Duel with left fuselage side continues. Today I added some ribs and few small details which are hardly notice I'll have to make many structural changes to falcons canopy set and I can only hope that I won't screw it... BTW I bought a Techmod decals set with masks Thanks for watching Stanley
Stanley Ipkiss
Hello there! Another bunch of photos from workshop I've done equipping left fuselage half and both cockpits. Now I have to do the same with right side and next try to fit the windowed nose which won't be easy Here are some pics how it looks now: Improved hatches The instrument panel isn't very nice because there wasn't any decals or film to do some good looking gaugeses All I could do was painting it black and put some gloss varnish in indicators placeses. Maxidad
This is looking great! I admire your scratch-building. I could never dedicate so much time to it, especially if most of it will be hidden when the fuselage is put together.
JakeEaton
Wow that's some incredibly small and intricate scratchbuilding. Keep the pics coming!

Stanley Ipkiss
Hi there! Today I managed to do some progress with Potez. I've finished ribs on the right side of fuselage and I also used a Techmod's masks to cover inner windows. Now I'm preparing for interrior painting. Unfortunatelly putting together the fuselage halves is going to be very hard because of difficult vacu nose fitting. If I make through this point the rest would be nice and easy... hopefully Here are some photos: Cheers Stanley
Stanley Ipkiss
Hello! Potez is slowly getting shape Cockpit is almost finished. The interrior colour is a mix of four paints: Humbrol 25 + 101 + 33 + 34. Hope You will like it Cheers Stanley

Stanley Ipkiss
Hello all after long break! I was very busy lately, but now I have got some more time for modelling so I came back to Potez After many stressful moments I've finnaly closed fuselage and nose compartment. Nose is a mix of home made windows with Falcon's set and Azur's parts. Some places are filled with Clearfix. Windows are a lille bit misty but I'll try to polish them after paintwork. Photos: Two photos of scratch built details Hope You like it Regards Stan

Stanley Ipkiss
Hello! After very looong break I decided to come back to this model I want to focus on that project and work on it systematicly. Hope I'll manage to do that Today I masked the rest of Potez's "windows". I also added the metal "wall" behind pilots seat. The doors and windows are mounted temporally only to show the way I want to expose the interrior Here are some pics Cheers Stanley
