shark 64
Not possible as it's all the decals from the MA sheet.I'm considering dropping them a line of complaint, even if the was'nt a problem with the initial painting, the poor quality of the decals would've ruined the model anyway. The star on the other side of the fin fractured as did the gold lettering. Hi. Not a bad idea to put that plane on ice for a bit till you go back to it. I am always in favor of letting companies about their products.....good or bad. Please keep us posted on your results ......Dont give up modeling. We all had bad days. You are not alone. Oliver
Pascal
The gold seems to be pretty much OK. Maybe you can put a coat of varnish over the decal, and paint the white ? Greetings Pascal

spike7451
To date no replacement decals have been recieved & I've been unable to contact AW-Bossman.His E-Mails/PM boxes are either full or bouncing. As I stated in the other post, this was being built for an old mate on 31 who's leaving but that's gone pear shaped now! To tell someone you'll replace something faulty & not do so is bad show & customer service, especially as I was going to order off them again. dont think I'll bother now. zero
Merv, I'm sure I remember reading about similar problems with this sheet on another thread. Do you think it's feasible to put a base coat of white before the aplying the replcements when do arrive? Justr a thought.Tony One solution to this, is to have a sheet of plain white decal paper to hand. Cut the decals out, then cut the decals shape out of the white paper, then carefully undercut the white plan decal, just slightly undersize of the main decal. obviously then place the white plan decals in place first, and then kits decal over it, this then makes the decal look cleaner, have a better surface to stick too, and most of all if the paint does bleed, it doesn't bleed in to the main decal. hope this helps Sorry to hear it all gone wrong for you merv.
