AnonymousDFB1
Whilst a couple of other builds are setting/drying and following my successful venture into the world on 1:72 with the airocobra. I thought I would throw build this one up for tables at Telford. I have a feeling that this one won't take long! AnonymousDFB1
It's not a difficult kit by any means I reckon I could finish it in 24 hours if I wanted.

AnonymousDFB1
Yep the one I got from you Steve, very simple and relaxing, good for honing techniques on. Started the decaling this afternoon, Typical airfix, very thick! But going on well. More later....

AnonymousDFB1
What happened? Masked up the wrong dimensions and then the paint got under the tape
AnonymousA667
That always happens to me. But if I try using decals then: 1. The white is never properly opaque. 2. They never fit properly. peebeep
alex
Try spraying the stripes before the camouflage: since there's no dark colour underneath, the white is quite shiny, and if you got camouflage colour running under the tape protecting the stripes, it looks like the stripe colour is peeling off, adding some realism.
