wadeocu Posted July 16, 2009 Share Posted July 16, 2009 I have a box of dozens of Super 8 reels my old man shot when he was a navigator with the 4th TFS, 366th TFW on F-4Es at Da Nang AFB in 1969 and 1970. Several reels look to contain walkarounds of alert aircraft. I want to transfer them to DVD and am looking into the best and most cost effective way of doing this. There are many many sites offering this service on the web. Most seem to charge by the foot ($.10 to $.36 per foot depending on quality of transfer for example). Does anyone have experience with this? Do you have any recommendations on quality and cost considerations? I have a bunch of reels and would like to transfer all of them; perhaps someone knows of a program that offers bulk rates? Any thoughts or insight you can share would be appreciated.
