Nev
Reminds of an incident about 12 years ago when I lived in Cleethorpes. Came home from work one Friday afternoon, making myself a cup of tea etc and there was lots of jet noise about - not unusual - but this noise went on and on and was very loud, so in the end I decided to pop into the garden to see what was going on, to find all the neighbours in their backgardens looking up at the Reds doing a display! Turns out there was some new dock being opened and the Reds were giving a display as part of the opening. Now where I lived literally backed onto the football ground (Blundell Park), and I kid you not, at one point one of the solo reds flew between the floodlights at my end whilst on a knife-edge, banking hard If I hadn't seen it I wouldn't have believed it. I used to go to the footy quite regular, so it was just a walk round the corner. When I didn't go noise was never a problem, but the floodlights illuminating my bedroom put paid to any early nights! Ever go to the Imp? My housemates went once, were nearly dragged into a fight over a game of pool and never went again!
