Ian
Big question- red stripe in the Stars n Bars? No for two reasons, First: If the war in Europe was still happening in 1947, the military and the politicians would have enough to deal with without trying to 're-constitute' the USAAF. Second: The plate for the base already says "Summer 1946" ! Ian

Rampage55
Wow! Great 'what if'. I have the original 1/48 Tamiya Meteor kit that will take a bit of work to make an accurate early Meteor out of it. I've been wondering what to do with it, and you have just provided the perfect inspiration. Thank you, Mark
