Tony Whittingham
hello All, I am looking for clear pictures of the Martin baker mk 9 A seats used in the GR1/GR3. I've tried thew M-B website, but the Mk9 version they have is the 9B (jaguar version. If I am to believe the Arifix kit, the head box is different. ( cushioning more rounded) Does anyone have pictures, or pilotès notes drawings? Thanks in advance

Tony Whittingham
Thanks ,Andy, I have a lot of work ahead of me! The seat in the 1/24 Airfix kit does not even come close to these pix!
spike7451
A lot of early seats have canopy breaker horns on the headbox & by the thighs. On two seat aircraft the may be 2 types of the same seat in use as the angle of the canopy & seat offset dictates the length of the horns fitted to front or rear seats. These are ex Spanish Matadors built/supplied by McDD so may not have the Martin Baker seat - more likely a seat by Stencil?
