Finished building this in time to commemorate the first one being shot down in September 1978. (Very sad indeed.) Model was carved up and modified to represent a Series 700 Viscount. I rember the two Viscounts being shot down vividly - it shook us all rigid. Dean da Costas comments during the memorial service in Salisbury Cathedral said it all ..... It's actually the S&M Models Viscount - limited run injection moulded kit. I did have a go at the Welsh Models vac-form but I failed dismally. As I said in my second post, I may well have a go at one of these. I have to agree with you about Kurt's Viscount though. He let me have a look at some of the patterns for the Viscount at Telford a couple of years ago and they were super. It's an absolute gem but too expensive for me I'm afraid. All the best. Chris.
