my irritating work web filter won't let me translate. I tried to get on the forums but with my limited French it would appear you have to register first which is a shame but it does look a good site.

Hello GCN,

I'm one of the admins of Heavy Plastic;

just to inform you that we are going to set up an optional language setting for the forum in the coming days; most of the forum members are speaking english (at least global english, that is !) and will answer gladly to english speaking members

We've setting a mandatory registration access to the forum, for various reason, the one beeing those nasty spam bots selling viagra and other meds.

Heavy Plastic is a gathering of french modellers, focused on techniques and techniques/knowledge sharing. Comment are always most welcome and appreciated. Most of the members are aircraft modelers, but we see a rise of interest for armor and soft skin, and even submarines these days.

There are some great French modellers, witness the builds in mags like Replic, or my favourite, Wingmasters. I'm going to bookmark that site in prepertion for the upcoming English language version Stephane mentions!
