dylan the rabbit
We're on the home stretch now... Water bottle, entrenching tool case complete, and on the webbing.. Large pack made, and just needs the finishing touches. Almost there. Time for a fag.. Got a light mate? Cheers, Nick
dylan the rabbit
Finished at last.. Loaded up in full marching order on the way back to the front, having a quick fag.. A very enjoyable project, and I'm rather chuffed with him. Thanks for looking. Cheers, Nick
Giorgio N
Action figures are not really my thing, but I'm impressed by the job you've done on yours, looks great ! If I can mention a small thing is that the wooden parts of the rifle in the pics. look a bit shiny and plasticky and contrast with the realism of the uniform and the webbing. Well done ! dylan the rabbit
Thanks Giorgio. I know what you mean about the rifle, but in the flesh it looks fine. Here's an update on the old boy. Gave him some new hands. Bendy ones, that can be posed as one likes. Much better. Cheers, Nick
Shar2
He looks superb. You've done a fab job with all the added extras and details. I still have a couple of Action Men from when I was a kid, both in Naval uniform. The only two survivors from a huge collection I had, which my Mum gave to my second cousin, not that I'm still bitter or anything.
dylan the rabbit
Cheers mate. Considering what original Action Men fetch these days, I wish I'd taken more care of what I seem to remember was a considerable childhood collection, now, alas, consigned to memory... drdave
Thats great! I remember being excited by the fact that the action man hair was made in a factory in my village as a kid. Cor!
