Phil Reeder Posted May 3, 2009 Share Posted May 3, 2009 I haven`t posted a WIP on this ,as I wanted to get it finished quickly,due domestic circumstances.This is the latest product from WEM ,which I did a light mod job on .The only reference I had was the old Warship Profile,but it had a good aerial photo of the Hesperus,taken in Sept 42,which was very useful.The figures are Fujimi,a little over sized,but they worked quite well. Hi,and thanks for the comments.I made the seascape ,using the following method: I placed the lower hull half upside-down on the wooden base,then,using Airfix Air Clay,made the wake ,and the area of disturbed water surrounding the hull. Then using my own connoction of Plaster of Paris,mixed with some PVA glue,for added strength,made the rest of the sea.When dry ,it was coated with some PVA glue to seal it,the lower hull was removed,and it`s ready for painting.
