beany
I'm in with a Sanger 1:48 Bristol Beaufort that I bought on a whim a few years back. I've never built a vac before but hell, nothing ventured, nothing gained... Cheers Al.
Heraldcoupe
I've got a few vacforms in the loft. Off the top of my head, I've got: 1/72 Rareplane YB-17 inc B-17D conversion Rareplane Seafire FR47 Rareplane Seafang/Spiteful Rareplane U2 Contrail Fairey Hendon Unknown East European Lagg-3 & La-5 1/48 Sanger Beaufort Koster Ju-88 PP Firefly Mk4/5 1/32 ID Models B-17 Pretty sure there are a few others, I'll have to take a trip upstairs later. Current favourite is the Koster Ju-88, it's a balance between size and complexity. I've also got plenty of spare Ju-88 bits from/for the Revell/Monogram/Dragon kits, which should ease the project along. All subject to change though, I need to get my Lancaster painted and off the bench to make space before starting, Cheers, Bill. Don't worry, I'll be in the same boat! Looking forward to this one kicking off and seeing some great work! Karl.

perry
Whose kit is it (Iknow it's yours!)Tony Not sure Tony, the plastic is white, not a creamy colour, can't remember whether its Combat who do them in white or ID. What did strike me when i first looked at it was the level of detail;panel lines etc, haven't seen that before on the other vacs I've done. theplasticsurgeon
I've got 3 vacform kits to choose from, all Rareplane: Gloster Meteor F8 - most likely candidate for this GB. I've also got Matchbox kit stuff like undercarriage, and drop tanks for this kit. North American Savage - only if the Meteor is enjoyed. I've got various injection spares for this, such as seats and engines. Douglas Skywarrior - unloved since I bought a Hasegawa A-3!

Doug Rogers
I'm in with a 1/48 Falcon Spitfire PRXI conversion, not sure which donor kit I'll be using for the wings yet, Academy, ICM or Hasegawa, probably ICM actually. I'll be doing it with German markings though, the Zirkus Rosarius ones, and probably an Aires cockpit. First vacform anything I've done, looking forward to it though...I think. AnonymousAA72
Wait a cotton pickin minute Bill!!!! Thats what I was going to do!! Joy Stealer :shithappens: I did say "or even" (=maybe!! Which most likely means=unlikely!!!). It depends on whether I can source a set of replacement brass wing vortex generators and a new canopy or three, as I used mine when I re-built my old FAW9 into an FAW4 some years ago.. I'm not sure if Taro is still supplying spares - but I'll e-mail him later...... I really do though need to get that Hunter started (once the Echelon Lightnings out of the way!) .......We shall see!! Dave Fleming
I reckon I can top Mike's stash tally:- You don't want to know how many vac forms I have in the stash (nor does my wife!!)...... but it's over 100, 1/72 and 1/144th.

I can probably at least double that figure! (Mostly 1/144 scale - I shall probably never get to build them all in my lifetime, so someone shall probably inherit them at some future airshow surplus kit clearance stall! ). Haven't tried Sanger, only know of Airways, but by their nature I presume they're pretty similar, just detailing and the actual plastic itself making the difference. All have the same thing in common; research is even more vital! Of course I could be talking out of my backside, I'm no expert
