Civvy jets at Glasgow

Was passing the airport this morning and stopped with my wee boy for a look and see. Took a couple of pic's, not great quality and the sky was a bit overcast, last few were a result though -

One of my charges about to depart for LHR in full working order -

And my lucky strike for today was this very new and shiny KLM Embraer, which I've not seen at Glasgow before -

I keep rushing to my binoculars thinking a Continental or Delta 757 is going out but it's often one of those Embraers, they're scale models of winglet equipped 757!

Only in Glasgow.......lol!!

Nice shots, those Embraers are nice jets - still surprises me that a twin jet shaped like that is only 4 abreast seating though....

I look after the 195 version for Flybe, and according to the marketing dept at Embraer the reason is everyone wants either a window seat or an aisle seat!

They are very nice aeroplanes to work on but thats only because they dont seem to go wrong.......yet!!

Other than the one that had the mishap on the Isle of Man...

:speak_cool:

It's the Flybe 195s I've flown on, mainly to Birmingham. Only complaint is the seat backs could be higher (for a taller chap like me).
