Red Dragon
You might want to onsider the Dragon "Alamein" Sherman II, the suspension is much more user friendly. did you mean the Dragon Firefly Ic (Hybrid)? The original kit can be found for around £20.00 if you look around for it. Cheers Phil just wondering what you guys have on your shelf waiting to be made and what order you might be doing them in, all my kits are 1/35th, but for this thread 'size doesn't matter' (not what my missus says, he..he... )me well, although i cut my teeth on german armour mainly pzkpfw iv, pzkpfw iii, stug iii, sdkfz 250 & 251, im right into gb afv's at the mo so here's my list of what i'll be doing :- 1, finish my valentine (maquette) 2, finish my centaur (tamiya) 3, finish my stuart (academy) then...... 4, challenger 2 (trumpeter) 5, warrior (afv club) 5, churchill iii (afv club) 6, firefly vc (dragon) (anyone know of any pitfalls, major faults or what to look out for, on the above kits?) then start saving for the tasca el alamein sherman and firefly ic hybrid bronco comet and cruiser mk iii
Stormbringer
Watch out for the suspension arms on the Warrior, if you position them so that the body is too far off the ground you may have trouble getting the tracks to fit. And with the Trumpeter Chally II I cut the lugs off the gun mounting and fix it permanently as IMHO it looks wrong if you don't Pete

Mike
I'm dreading to think what I have in my stash. I just had a big move around when I dragged out the Mig 19 box for Jussie last night, and I'd got some kits I'd forgotten all about!
Murdo
My part built stuff. I just can't seem to finish anything at the moment which is getting quite annoying... Achillies, lorry, Saxon, Pig, Saladin, Chieftain. 1/48 B17, 1/32 Hunter (Black Arrows job) MAZ Airfix Discovery I also have a 1/48 Lancaster (old tooling) on the go. I'm just getting nowhere with everything.

Blackwolf6636
Can I join the club Murdo and Mash, just concentrate!!! : Murdo, I see from your picture you've got acrylic paint. How are you getting on with it/what's it like compared to enamel? I'm used to using Humbrol etc, but I hate white spirit, so I'm switching to acrylic. would like to know what other modellers think of it. The buildslook good gys. Keep at it. Murdo
Hi BWK I use Tamiya Acrylics almost exclusively and think they are great. As most of my stuff is either Nato Green or Nato Green and Black, it's not much of a problem. I've tried the Xtracrylics paint but had no success. I'll try them again on an old model when I get some time. Time really is the problem.... And impatience... And worrying about screwing it up... And impatience... I also spend ages getting the paint job just right... Then bash it up and plaster it in mud. Insane!
MarkSH
I'd like to thank you for posting the images of your loft. I made sure that my better half saw them so she could gain a sense of perspective, re. the paltry 30 or so kits stashed in my garage...worked like a charm! Cheers, Mark.
