Redboost
Hi all, this is 1/72 Revell kit I built over the Easter holidays. Pretty nice kit, only the canopy was thick and incorrectly shaped, so I replaced at least the malcom hood with a vacformed item. Spad
Very very nice - lovely neat build with beautifully judged weathering Built over the hols? just how long did that take you then? thanks for sharing - I have the same kit and this really gives inspiration. cheers Rick
Deanflyer
1/72? Blimey, that IS nicely done. Looks a lot bigger. Great job. Cheers, Dean

alex
I first guessed it was 1:48, but yeah, it has a lack of details on the wheel which proves it's 1:72! Excellent paintjob! Alex
Obi-Jiff Kenobi
Nicely done, and great weathering too.

Simon Platt
That's a very neat build at that scale. Is the light on the port wing straight from the kit? It seems exceptionally clear. The aerial on top of the fuselage too must be extremely thin. Great work all around. The paint job, and your own little details. Just superb. Redboost
Thanks again for nice comments! Simon: the light on the wing is actually a clear self-adhesive tape glued over the leading edge and cut to shape. The aerial is piece of tie fishing line. MarkSH
Surely you meant 1/48? No! Oh my gosh!!
mahross
Lovely build. Just proves what can be achieved in the smaller scales. Ross

upnorth
Great work Libor! Looks like it's in a much larger scale than 1/72.
Ali
That looks great! I especially like the weathering on the underside which looks very convincing. What did you use as a final clear coat?
Spad
Thursday to Tuesday eh!?! That is quick! BTW did you vac the canopy yourself as I have to agree, the kit canopy is a bit thick so I'm interested in what you used for yours. Thanks again Rick

Redboost
Spad: the Malcom hood comes from Squadron canopy set which I guess is intended for the Monogram kit, but the Malcom fits perfectly. Ali: I used Gunze Mr.Color flat laquer thinned with original Mr.Color thinner in 1/10 ratio.
