Any chance you could upload the photos again? I'd love to see what it looked like.

Pics of the real thing, now back in Afghanistan and re-painted.

I wrote that article in Airforces Monthly many moons ago. I spent a considerable amount of time down on Salisbury Plain chasing after the two Hips and ended up with some great photographs. The photos were compiled into a photobook and all the British instructors bought a copy when the project was ending.

It’s probably ok to say now. When they were at Boscombe (I worked there) I had free access to the Hangar they were operating out of. No photo’s allowed but the good old note pad and unrestricted wandering over the aircraft gave me everything I needed👍.
