Iain Ogilvie
We're trying to source a tyre for my friends RV6 that is currently going through it's annual - the existing pneumatic tyre has been damaged and it may take a while to get new one's through from Vans in the US. It's pretty small - 6 x 1.25 - any thoughts on possible UK suppliers? Solid, or pneumatic... Any pointers to suitable sources appreciated. xffw45343tg
Might be worth trying your local cycle shop - might be a child's bike or wheelchair size? Lonnnnngggg time ago when my Saturday job was in a bike shop we could usually get "funny" sizes within a couple of days.
Iain Ogilvie
Thanks Kirk, We're putting feelers out through those kind of sources now... Even found a mobility scooter tyre that looks like it may do the trick! Iain
Iain Ogilvie
Sorted - two tyres inbound from an aero supplies company in Havant. Just need some blue skies now...

Should have gone straight to WATTS Tyres, they import all or most of the tyres into the UK and are cheaper than buying from the likes of a dealer who probably uses them as his supplier. For future reference see http://www.wattsaviation.co.uk/
Iain Ogilvie
Thanks Tony - Watts were first port of call I believe - but no dice on that size... Iain
