James V
Hi All, I have been really slack and not done any WIP photos of this model, just been really busy with work and stuff! Anyway It took a few months to do but here she is; XH134 finished in the "Final Canberra" Scheme of 2006. All built out the box, there are a few differences to the actual PR9 and the Airfix model, which i did not correct. In hindsight I wish I did! Anyway, on with the show: As usual the model was finished with Promodel wash, and Klear. The next which is also underway is the Trumpter EE Lightning in 1/32 scale - I will stick some photos of that on here very soon! James

Mike
Having seen the last display of this airframe at Fairford a couple of years back, I've got a very soft spot for this scheme & have the decals in my stash ready for a build some day. Nice job

zipper
Lovely stuff James, just spotted it as I was searching for Canberra's. really nice to see one made up in the disbandment scheme as I have a big soft spot for this baby as I designed the Tail Art/disbandment scheme for her back in 06 when I was at Marham. I'm part of Geoff's Scale Modelling Now so know doubt we'll meet at some point. Ashley
goon
Really nice. I'm doing the B(I).8 at the moment and it's given me a real liking for the Canberra. PR.9 is on my shopping list.

Look forward to meeting you at some point, are you based down in Odiham? bit of a long way to come for the monthly meet ups? Very nice model there mate. I too have a soft spot for this paticular plane as i saw it at RAF marham families day, whoever was in control gave it full beans all the way. Black smoke like an old tractor!! And i never thought i'd see one put into a loop it was really something. Just a quick nod to the guy who designed this scheme and the 2sqn Tonka they are excellent well done and thank you.
