InFlames
nice gripen! It appears you misplaced the roundels though - the white part of the roundel should be facing upwards on the fin and outwards on the wings...
Colin S-K
Marek, Nice sense of symmetry to those three models, I like that, nice models, well done. Be interesting to see what you do next.... I hate myself for saying it, but previous comments about roundels, are correct.... Always hate pointing these things out... Most folks will not notice, but research does pay off... upnorth
Those are beautiful builds Marek, thanks for sharing. To enlarge on the issue of the Czech air force insignia. If you want to fix them completely, you will need to do more than just change their orientation on the plane. Italeri made the mistake of printing the Czech insignia in two shades of grey when in reality it is only one shade of grey. Here's a couple of pictures illustrating what I mean: Happily, Extratech of the Czech Republic does produce an aftermarket decal sheet with correct insignia and so forth: http://www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=EXD4807

upnorth
Czech Gripen decals I hope they are correct now. They certainly should be correct. Extratech made a sheet of Czech air force decals to go with the Bilek reissue of the Italeri 1/72 Gripen a few years ago. I built that kit and the decals looked perfect from an accuracy standpoint. I imagine the 1/48 sheet is simply scaled up from that. Like the 1/72 sheet, it gives you all the numbers needed to make any Gripen, C or D model, in the Czech inventory.
