AnonymousFO98 Posted June 9, 2009 Posted June 9, 2009 Hi Bazza No worries mate- forgot to say we have until 31st July to finish- the time seems to be whizzing by, but hopefully there is still time for you to complete a good job of the Hs123 no woty you mean about the masking, some of the angles of the splinter pattern are a tad acute, as i found out when i made the Airfix kit. It was an early build on returning to the hobby and would do things differently now. at the risk of teaching Grannie to suck eggs, i would lay the masking tape on the shiny side of some sticker label backing (i recycle the address label backing paper) and draw the splinters. Then cut with new scalpel blade so there would be a positive and negative mask. hth- it always sounds so easy - in the theory!

Sarge is almost home and dry Stebos is entering the finishing straight Blimp is going to be nip and tuck Jonners pulled out of the Bulldog build my 1st build took so long the Vultee barely got going the rest, maybe a dozen or so were non starters have i missed anyone? apologies if i have. I reckon it's got about another 10 days work on it. The nacelles have been the bogeyman on this one, requiring carefull alignment, filling, sanding, etc. Try and get some pix on later.
