Classic Airframes Supermarine Walrus

Recommended Posts

As my other builds are progressing nicely in the Naval GB, I though it was time to get some work done on my D-Day entry.

I'm going to build the Classic Airframes Walrus and complete it in 277 Naval Air Squadron markings with its D-Day stripes as it would have been on the day.

Here's the Box:

Here's some of what's inside:

Here's the extra's, CMK wheels:

And Classic airframes additional Decal set that has the D-Day markings:

And if there's one a/c that could have been identifiable w/o invasion stripes, then this is it!

Looks a nice kit Oz, almost but not completely unlike my SMER version of the same aircraft which has more flash than Gordon....

OzH: That will be a classic sea plane...I don't think I'd want to run into Jerry in that one however...

D-Day Cheers,

This one is not going to make the deadline!

Got so far, managed to get the masks off today.

This is the first time I have tried the FAA shadow scheme, good fun, a really subtle affect I think.
