raif
AV O, I was just wondering if you used an after market decal set for your French AF Ouragan? the one with the yellow stars, I am currently building and about to paint my Heller example in an Israeli scheme and was searching the forum for completed Ouragans! but I would very much like to do another in that same scheme as yours, which I fell in love with some time ago after seeing a photo of one in a museum in France on Airliners.net! AV O
Sorry for the delay. The decal was part of the French Acrobatic Display team boxing released with 3 different airplanes - Ouragan, Fouga, Alpha Jet. See PM for details. Jessica
Those look really great A couple small corrections for your Canadian airplanes though. Hobbycrap moulded the Tutor's landing gear too long. It ought to sit much closer to the ground so you could stand to trim about 2-3mm off each gear leg. Next, the Golden Hawks wired their sabres' slats up after a near disaster when they deployed unevenly during a close formation flight. They also left a band of bare metal along all the leading edges because the gold paint had a tendency to peel off in the airflow.

AV O
All very nice, I rather like the old Airfix G-91, good jobt Except the fact that the tanks pylons are a "little" too long : the tanks might as well be floats. Painted in red it could be part a new Porco Rosso adventure ! Edited December 18, 2013 by AV O

That's an old wives tale, There is many a pictures of the '63 Golden Hawks Sabres and their slats are not locked up. Tony
