AV O
Don't they deserve to be given a kind of live attitude ? DC-10-30 UTA (Hasegawa 1/200th) L-1011 Tristar Prototype (Hasegawa 1/200th) Edited March 29, 2018 by AV O
brooksy
Wow, I never knew you could get a Tristar kit. I always fancied having one in the stash. Right then, I'm off to look for one. Lovely builds, all of them Andy
GreenDragon
Brooksy you might have trouble finding a Hasegawa 1/200th Tristar. They seem to be pretty rare, the last issue I remember was an RAF one (not very accurate because the RAF only use short body -500's and the kit is the standard L1011-1). Last time I actually saw in the flesh was about fifteen years ago All Nippon colours. You should be able to get the last issue of the 1/144th Airfix Tristar (TWA And Cathay Pacific colours). Paul Harrison Forgot to say way to go AV O, they look much better with everything hanging out! Very nice builds. keefr22
Three gorgeous builds there AV O, really good work on the slats & flaps!! I like them all, but my favourite is the UTA jet - I really like the clean & simple design of their scheme and you've done it justice with a superb finish! Lovely work Keef Edited March 6, 2009 by keefr22
HOUSTON
AV O....These are SUPERB...the lines are CLEAN and the Lockheed looks GORGEOUS but I must agree with Keef that the UTA Jet , although it is simple. symmetrical CLEAN LINES and the color is "minimal" it does look AWESOME.... BRILIANT !!! Houston......

keefr22
Slightly but I believe there may be a 747 firebomber too. There certainly is. Apparently dumps 20,000 gallons of retardent out in under 5 seconds or so. Splash!! I have a friend in Californis not far from the latest fire & he has S-64 & S-61's operating from a lake near him. Also in the area are P2V's, Canadair 215's, the DC-10 & 747 - & yesterday the Martin Mars apparently started operating too! 747; http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3150/303771...c503e7d.jpg?v=0 DC-10; http://www.flickr.com/photos/old_coasty/30...57609259552589/ Martin Mars !!!!! ; http://www.flickr.com/photos/old_coasty/30...57609259552589/ Sorry for wandering Keef
