Richard M
I had a few days in Paris and managed to visit the Musee de l'Air et de l'Espace. Here are some pictures of the static display outside. The internal displays are in quite dark hangers which aren't very good for photography. Mainly French, not a lot of WW2 aircraft, mainly 50's onwards with some civil and commercial aircraft. Not a lot of modern/current on display. The aircraft all look well used! Unfortunately it was half term so there were hundreds of kids everywhere, the staff adamantly refused to let me across the barriers to get close ups of the undersides and gear bays etc. I do have some semi-walkarounds of the Draken, F104, Etendard, Mig and Atlantic to post up. Entrance with three Fouga Magisters of the Patrouille de France Display Team. Super Mirage 4000 Saab J35A Draken Saab J32 Lansen Mig 23ML Flogger G Lockheed T33A F105G Thunderchief F104G Starfighter Etendard IV M BR.1150 Atlantic 1 MBB HFB 320 Hansa Commercial - Dassault Mercure. Commercial? Commercial? Some of the commercials including the 747 in the background with the Ariane rockets. Best Rich

lancaster21
Hello all, the "air Provence" is a caravelle II or III (I don't remember wich one). the super Mirage 4000 has been repainted in prototype color few years ago ( it was in desert schema when he arrived in Le Bourget) Sébastien
