Antoine
I'll start a new project soon: A kfir C7 from Fuerza Aérea Colombiana I want to have a go at a kit with some heavy resin conversion (My next learning step) It should look like this (Hopefully...). Not sure yet about some options, like refuelling probe or not. Those are form Sri Lanka, but it gives me an idea for a personal touch. I'd like to mount a pair of python 3 with the usual external tanks. I have yet to buy them somewhere. I'll also try to scratch some IAI Griffin LGB. The base kit: Italeri IIIE (1/48). The sprues: And the isracast resin: That's all for the moment. Constructive critics, advices, etc... during the build are more than welcome, as this project is full of "first" for me. Vincenzo
Certainly a very expensive resi set but it will certainly have its great effect!!!
hatchet
I seem to remember that you have the Isra book on the Kfir, right? That ought to be helpful, even if it doesn't include the internationals except for the F-21 I'd like to mount a pair of python 3 with the usual external tanks. I have yet to buy them somewhere. See if you can find the Paragon ones. If the 72nd ones are anything to go by, and I've heard they are, you're in for a treat! Forget the EagleDesigns ones, they aren't very good. For the colour of the (live) missile body (like the front end of the one in the pic), I think that Citadel Spacewolves Grey is a good match - at least to my eye! It's not too blue, but still more blue than we're used to see on a live missile. Edited February 23, 2009 by hatchet

Antoine
Started today. The pit is glued in place using cyano The kfir leading edges are different. Be careful with the length of the resin part. Its not exactly the same size as the part of the wing you've to cut. In place, glued with cyano. I'll need some putty there, but not much, and I don't really mind, as there is still a lot of work to do on the wing. The wheel wells are not deep enough, so I've cut the bottom.
