Deacon
I wonder if anyone can help me with the following. I've just completed this Hobby Boss FM-2 Wildcat (1:72) and I have got two other models to paint in this colour. My question is, what would you recommend for a panel wash? Is it just black or is it a case of using a lighter colour to make it stand out? Cheers Deacon

Cheers Deacon try some acrylic chalks ground up mixed with a touch of water and a drop of washing up liquid. try whatever colour you fancy if you don't like it they come off real easy with a dampened bit of kitchen towel. personally i would start with a paynes grey colour
Stebos
I used a promodeller black wash on that colour last week. The contrast against the blue was so strong it ended up looking like a mid-grey in the end. Personally I would go for a lighter line than base if you want to represent dirt, for breaking up the base by showing the 'construction' lines I'd try to get a proper black in there.
