A quiet Sunday at Glasgow

Was passing the airport on way home from shopping this morning and thought I'd stop for a quick look, being a Sunday it was very quiet, with only one Easyjet A319 (was it Busdriver?) departure and a light a/c from the flying club, but snapped these 2 pic's anyway.

The daily Emirates 777 on it's usual stand preparing for a 1400 departure, with the flats and spires of Paisley in the background -

The constant rumble we could hear was my colleagues engine running G-LGTI on the blast fence at the hangar, the sharp-eyed among you will notice this aircraft no longer wears the "British Airways" titles on the forward fuselage and that the Speedwing has gone. Also the aircraft is sporting an all white rudder. The aircraft has just about completed an end-of-lease check and will not go back into service wth BA, G-LGTH also departed from Glasgow on Wednesday last week after it's end of lease. The aircraft facing the camera is G-FFFJ and will shortly be into the hangar to begin an end-of-lease check having just had some repairs carried out at Gatwick.

Not great pic's but the sun had disappeared a bit while we'd been out, and Sunday's aren't the best for movements. I'm desparate to try and get some nice approach/departure pic's when there's a nice low wintry sun.

Thank's for having a look,

Tell me about it, started about 1500 and just got heavier and heavier, took the kids out for 15-20 mins at 1730 and they cleared the front and back gardens of snow, it's now 1915 and it's re-covered AND some, plus it's still going!!! Bring it on, I love the snow.
