JohnT
I bought this a while back and am looking to start it soon. I have ordered the Xtradecal set to enhance it and wondered if anyone could advise on anything else that might need attention other than the usual fit issues with these models ? Anyone know what Mark of seat Martin Baker put in ? I'd guess it was a Mark 2 from whats on their web site - a great source of their seat histories, pics, specs and a/c fitted by the way. Also any links to cockpit pics, and the like would be much appreciated. Thanks

Therefore the resin ones that come in the kit are fine, be careful how you cut them from their blocks............ I added a seat of Eduard pre-painted harnesses on mine...they look really good
Graham T
It's a good kit with the main fit issues being the intakes. One piece resin replacements are available & hopefully someone'll chip in as to where from - I can't recall!

Serves me right. Many thanks I shall go ot to East Fortune and have a look at the two seat meteor there but as its an ex Ferranti hack I had better take care to make sure its relevant to my build thanks again It's a good kit with the main fit issues being the intakes. Mark Worboys
Sorry JohnT, should have been addressed to you and not Graham, Sorry all.... i have just built the NF11 (still in Ready for inspection 96 sqd) I used the kit intakes, which i must admit were a right pain. To make your life a lot easier i would recommend the heritage replacements. (Heritage can be found on this website). Apart from that, the kit goes together okish, wings outers and tail plane require some strenghtening as there are no tabs. Enjoy, as it make up to a great model.
