James V
I have been trawling the web for an hour or so, I thought someone on here might know in the end - With the 31 squadron jet I am looking to finish it off with a couple of LGBIII bombs from the airfix kit - The question is though, are these to be staggered on each pylon one in front of the other or are they to be paced parallel at the front of each pylon. I though I would ask rather than putting them on first! Thanks in advance!!!
spike7451
TIALD or LGB Port front shoulder pylon,LGB Centerline pylon (post Op Granby 1991),LGB Starboard front. Putting them on the rear shoulder pylon stations may make the jet rear heavy.Cant put them one in front of the other cause they're too long if memory serve. James V
Spike thanks for this, So am I right in thinking a LGB on the Right (starboard) and that TILAD pod on the left? (if you were looking down on the jet)

xvtonker
Yup.Telic jets click the image. Merv For Op Granby jets at Muharraq LGB's were carried on both shoulder pylons and the front station of the centre pylon. John C
