DamienB
To celebrate the release of the magnificent Airfix 1/48 kit, I've gotten off my rear and finally finished off the TSR.2 walkaround at Thunder & Lightnings: Click here for the peachy walkaround goodness Nearly 70 photos of the two surviving examples. Sadly I don't have any good cockpit shots so if anybody could assist on that score I'd be grateful!

DamienB
Thanks Merv but what I meant was if anybody had pics they'd taken themselves - there are some others available online, and I have others but they are somebody else's copyright and so I cannot use them. I'm going in April 0n the 5th and again in early May (if I can swing it- the word "free" has a lot of power in this household!) to Cosford. Do you know if they ever open the cockpit generally or do you have to book it? Either way I'll be pleased to sort that out for the members although someone else will have to take the pics as I can't see much of the 'pit from my chair. chadders
I think you will have to book it mate. Its a very rare occurance as it has lots of H+S implacations as the cockpit is so high. It is possible but rare. If you do manage to wing it, let me know as I'd love a peek inside after admiring it from the outside for the last 20 odd years. I think I'll try for the May date as the April one will be crammed full of modelling people as well as the normal crowd! Tony
