AnonymousFO98
Hi all have made a start on the Trumpy Gannet, but am not sure of some of the colour callouts for a FAA bird eg, the interior says blue/grey with black panels- but photo evidence seems to be black wheel wells and landing gear say silver, but the walkarounds give contradictory results so am a tad confused. will be building the Ark Royal version will edit details asap
daz greenwood
I would have said black too as most if not all RAF/FAA A/C at the time had black interiors. Edited January 7, 2009 by daz greenwood

moaning dolphin
There was an example in the Flambards theme park down here in Helston and IIRC the undercarriage colour for that one was a light blue grey colour as opposed to an aluminium. Unfortunately it has relocated up country so cannot get any phots. Hope this helps Bob
AnonymousER99
I took pics of the unrestored Gannet at the Pima Air Museum last Friday. Let me dig through my pics and see what I have. Cheers Mike
