alex
hello, On a german paper modeling forum, someone posted a free download model of a harbour tug. I downloaded it, printed it on thin cardboard (twice, once on 80g/m2 and once on 120g/m2) and off we went. The building itself is very straightforward, it only has a few parts. But believe me, this parts are a pain to handle! Not sure if you have to be a member to download, here's the link, just in case: http://www.kartonbau.de/wbb2/filebase.php?fileid=366 . The shipyard who built the original is in the UK, by the way: http://www.macduffshipdesign.com/tugs/2tugs.htm As you can see, this thing is really small, and almost unnoticeable in my display. Especially because it's sitting next to the Reims cathedreal in the same scale, with a length of some 60cm... Alex
turnerdad
Love these card models, have often been tempted to get one. Had a great display at IPMS Milton Keynes show last year with a cathedral, castle, ships etc, some with lighting. Nice little tug.
Murdo
That looks quite smart considering how small it is... And made from paper too.
