DominikS
Hi All!!!! Finally the work on Spitfire FR XIVe finished. The kit itself is very nice and I didn't have many problems while assembling, except the underwing lamp which has fallen into wing and some scratches on canopy appeared when I took off the masking tape. So, here it is - Spitfire FR XIVe. All comments warmly welcome.
alex
looks great. I would add some exhaust stains. It's a bit strange - the whole aircraft looks dirty , but no smoke. And secondly, I'd fill the shell outlet ports on the wings (how are these things called in proper aviation english?) with black, so they look more like holes. Nice work!! Mike
Nice job The underside could probably stand a little more oil streaking from the cowl though, as they used to get rather filthy in use. I'd also black out the cartridge chutes, to fake some depth
