darson
Hi guys & gals I have been looking for a quick build over summer and have both the Hasegawa & Revell 1/72 Tornado GR.1 kits in my stash and was wondering which one do you guys feel is the better kit in terms of accuracy, build & detail? Catbird
Revell, its just the best.
turnerdad
The Revell one, much nicer panelling, and I've built both though the Hasegawa one is certainly respectable.

Skii
Revell, even if the nose is a little off.
Thom
The Revell one is a scaled down version of their excellent 1/32 kit, and comes with a really decent set of stores and a massive decal sheet. I've had 4 now, and only one had any problems. They simply build up into excellent representations of the real thing. The Hasegawa one is okay, but I thought the cockpit was poor and I don't like the radome as part of the fuselage moulding, I prefer to put one onto the front, like on the real jet. spike7451
The Revell one also contains the add ons for an RAF machine.
Master Zen
If you ever plan on doing an F.3, however, go Hasegawa. The Revell F.3 is a re-boxed Italeri.
