desmojen
Here's my latest, a Spitfire XVI of 612 Sqn Royal Aux Air Force. All dressed up ready to take part in the Cooper Air Race in 1949. Donor kit is the PCM IXe to which I have added the as yet unreleased Cammett XVI lowback conversion. Look out for the full build article in Scale Aircraft Modelling soon Jen. TheModeller
Lovely job, and a nice choice of colour scheme. Is the Cammet set a full fuselage or just an insert?
spitfire
That's absolutely great Jen, saw the conversion at Telford and can't wait to get my grubby mits on one. Cheers Den

desmojen
Thankyou very much for all the niceness chaps To answer the couple of questions raised so far, the conversion is a complete solid resin rear fuselage, from the cockpit door back rather than an insert. The squadron badge decal was created by none other than dswoofie, as was the serial on the tail Jen.

Yes, it's one of mine... but it needs a spiffing model to show it off properly, which has been more than amply done here! This is an absolutely lovely job on the kit... lots of great detail and stuff in there, and a lovely finish on it too. Fantastic work all round Karl.
