desmojen Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Thank you all very much for looking and replying; much appreciated. (Jen, how can I sound like Ringo when I have a Mancunian accent?) I dunno, you just do - a bit Jen.
John Laidlaw Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Bee-yoo-tiful! Favourites for me are the Chipmunk and the Meteor... such lovely finishes.
Brian1 Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Marvellous work - it's hard to pick any one out although for me I think it's the Lancaster.
Troffa Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Superb work Mike, truly inspirational models- your work is always so crisp and shows such finesse- Here's to 2009 and more of your excellent work. (The Lancaster is the one for me, the weathering on the wings is top notch!) cheers, Troffa.
Alex_Ford Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Mike - very nice work. I like the islander one of my favourite aircraft. I see you have done a pile of work on this including removing all the over-heavy raised detail (and the sink marks in the centre of the wing), but it looks like you have re-engraved then as per the real layout. May I ask how you did this please? Many thanks Regards Alex Ford.
borz666 Posted January 7, 2009 Posted January 7, 2009 You certainly are a talented FoMo I must say! They are all stunning but the meteor does it for me chris
atdb27 Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 A great Collection. So many excellent models but,.. The Helcat, Lanc and Chipmunk really stand out for me. Adrian
Stebos Posted January 12, 2009 Posted January 12, 2009 Some of those must have nightmares to mask up and decal! The sharp cleaness shows you don't need to weather the hell out of a subject to get a super result. Nice to see the Mainstay built up, I think I'll add that one to my list of future buys!
