Hello friends.

Today I've brought you this HERPA Mercedes-Benz 207D. It was a freebie in an eBay auction. I didn't want it to gather dust in some corner, so I got to work. I wanted to depict a car belonging to a Turkish greengrocer, which he himself had bought four times before. I've often seen cars like this myself; after the third or fourth owner, these vehicles receive no more care. Dents, rust, touch-ups, a new fender that, of course, will never be painted. A green tailgate from another vehicle, which also hasn't been painted. These vehicles are now used in Africa, living out their days there.

Same goes for me , your posts are much appreciated , do as you see fit 👍

On the subject of these Benzes , you can still spot them on our roads driven by hippies or at gatherings of "party goers"... the kind of idiots that were dancing in the fields just after the gigantic fires here in Occitanie.

I'm happy to see these beauties every day, as long as you accept that I'm running out of complimentary phrases and will have to start reusing them!

Couldn't agree more - I'm thinking of cutting and pasting my compliments from now on as every one of these models are little gems after you've worked your magic on them Werner!

And with this Merc you've made something really mundane look brilliant!
