I really like Kibri models, but unfortunately, Viessmann/Kibri isn't developing any new models anymore. They're focusing too much on their new Car Motion track, which only a few model railroaders actually own. I've already written to Viessmann to express our frustration as modelers, but unfortunately, I never received a reply. I've made several modifications and additions to this excavator. For example, I replaced some hydraulic lines, grab handles, and the radiator grille near the engine compartment with fine-mesh brass netting. I mixed the typical Liebherr yellow using Tamiya paints.

Looks perfect. As usual, you can't tell this is small scale.

Fantastic, Werner! Just the right amount of weathering!

Another stunning model Werner, the faded paint and weathering are just perfect!

Shame Kibri aren't doing any new models, as I really enjoy seeing your builds.

Me too, shame they're not so readily available this side of the North Sea
