Greetings,

My latest build is the Hasegawa Su-35S in 1/72 scale. I’ve heard that, in terms of accuracy, it isn’t quite as good as some of the other kits available. However, that’s perfectly fine for me — it was the one within my budget, and although the G.W.H kit is excellent, it is rather expensive.

For the painting, I tried to match the colors by eyeballing, using Tamiya and locally available paints. It involved a bit of trial and error. Painting the exhausts was a bit challenging but also fun and a good learning experience.

I’ll keep it short, so without further ado, here it is. Thank you for looking — cheers!

That's a very smart result, with the 'hot' areas of the exhausts a particular highlight. Well done 👍

Thanks, Mate. It was fun painting the cans as it was play around with colors and you can really get carried away. Cheers

Very nice work especially in eye balling the colors as they look very close to the actual Flanker blues and grays.  I have Vallejo Flanker color set and like I said look  very convincing.
