Ed Russell Posted November 3 Posted November 3 We have decided to resume sales to our customers in the EU, however we will not collect taxes and tariffs for the various EU governments as we have no clear method of remittance available. The EU has significantly reduced the tax-free threshold, which may be manageable, but many EU states also levy a handling fee for processing imports. Therefore it is possible that any parcels we send to EU countries may have additional charges levied, payable by the purchaser. Currently the USA has not provided a realistic pathway for registering for Value Added Tax collection or Tariff collection. The procedures so far in place are time consuming and carry high fees and charges. This is not affordable or manageable for small enterprises like ours, therefore we continue to not ship to the USA.
