Yg Models Posted October 31 Posted October 31 (edited) Last characters are from one of my favorite scifi comics/anime, this time from a video game: Death Stranding, a super FedEx guy, Sam Porter Bridges. Or you watch Walking Dead series, may familiar with Norman Reedus. Usually, I prefer smaller scale, but I have 1/12 Trike kit from same game, so chose to print big figure to match it. However, printing quality not so good, small pieces are broken, right foot can't install to base, backpack hasn't dry when i receive it, etc. btw, gameplay of Death Stranding is really boring, no replay value as MGS series, it more likes selling gimmick of actors, songs than game. 1/12 Sam Porter Bridges Working Photos: Product Photos: Edited October 31 by Yg Models 7
Jim Wasley Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Very nice sculptured figure with plenty of detail, well done.Sure has a pack on his back to carry!
HK-500 Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Excellent choice , I played this milestone of a game two years ago , enjoyed a lot driving the truck through the rocky parts of the territory. I might re-play it sooner or later , but the "baby" part made me a bit uncomfortable... You've done a cracking job
Yg Models Posted November 4 Author Posted November 4 (edited) thx HK-500, Jim Wasley unless has highway in game, I usually delivery suitables on foot. btw, the online sharing infrastructures gimmick doesn't match game setting, especial for first time players. Since Sam is the chosen one who reconnect USA in game, and single infrastructure already required huge amount of materials to build, how would the infrastructures completed (& change the delivery to easy mode) once player connect the network...😩 btw, i played on PC, need to wait kojima import DS2 to steam 😂 Edited November 4 by Yg Models 1 1
Pete in Lincs Posted November 4 Posted November 4 A great figure. I imagine it was easier to paint than your normal small ones. That is a huge backpack. The trike looks interesting.
Yg Models Posted November 5 Author Posted November 5 (edited) thx Pete in Lincs yes, it is easier to see layering/bending result on larger surface. on smaller size or miniatures, I usually find errors after on finished photos. that backpack only half volume than game. you see the triangular metal plate on arm & leg? that could mount suitcase too. Then, each hand holds one suitcase. And double the suitcases at back. btw, i already thrown the trike last year. 🤪 Edited November 5 by Yg Models
