robw_uk Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Must be mad but time for a winter build. Miniart SU122 initial with full interior. Am going to look at magnets to allow panels to be removed... Or something like that.... 10
Keeff Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Oh this will be worth a watch! I'll get a chair ... front row no less! and folllow with interest ... Keith ☺️ 1
robw_uk Posted November 2 Author Posted November 2 First build sessions. Engine, transmission and some fittings. Most is just placed in for now but the parts that attach to the floor are glued down as they are all the same colour... 10 1
Keeff Posted November 2 Posted November 2 This looks very crisp and well detailed. I'm paying more attention now as a MiniArt Stug III kit has landed recently .... with a full interior too! Keith 😊 2

Keith 😊 thanks Keith. this is the 4th one I have built (and have one more in the stash)... as always with MiniArt it is intricate, some small parts (1mm ring on the transmission) or thin (the pipe on the transmission - this one broke but it is there in all its parts)... I do enjoy the challenge of full interior so am on the hunt for more 2

FrancisGL Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Hi Rob, A great kit to keep you busy. I've had the same one in my stash for ages, but between the amount of work it would take and my skill level when I bought it, it's still sitting in the closet. I'll try to follow the thread, as it will be very useful if I ever decide to make it. Cheers Francis 👍 1

robw_uk Posted November 5 Author Posted November 5 Hehehe Sherman/Lee tracks are always complicated, depends on how the manufacturer helps you..... There is progress as well. Drivers controls glued in, drivers seat done but placed, engine etc just placed..... 4 1
Keeff Posted November 5 Posted November 5 Oh there's some nice fiddly bits there! Looking good though .... Keith 😊 1
